The Oath
The Promoter "Desperados" trading under SHS Sales and Marketing.
Both websites www.drinkdesperados.co.uk and www.desperadosbeer.co.uk are relevant under the term "Website".
1.1 The oath is a part of the Desperados website where the user can upload a video of him/her reading out the Desperado oath. The written oath can be found on the Website for the user to print out.
1.2 The video uploaded on the oath page must be within the regulations of the general Terms & Conditions for www.drinkdesperados.co.uk
1.3 Closing date for receipt of entries is at 15th April 2009 Midnight
1.4 There will be one winner and two runners up who will be notified within 2 weeks of the closing date
1.5 The winning prize is 10 cases of Desperados beer to be shipped to the winner’s address
1.6 The runner up gets 5 cases of Desperados beer shipped to their address
1.7 The independent panel of judges have been chosen by Desperados UK ltd. and the judging criteria is based on the style with which the oath is read out, creative flair, personality and originality
1.8 The winner must be a UK resident and aged 18 years and over.
1.9 Desperados reserve the right to deny, restrict, suspend and/or terminate your access to all or any part of the Desperados website Services if Desperados determines, in its sole discretion, that you have violated this Agreement or pose a threat to the Website and/or its Users and/or violating any applicable law.
1.10 The rewards are non-transferable. No cash alternative, in whole or part is available. Rewards are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. All rewards are subject to availability and any applicable legal rules or Terms and Conditions.
1.11 Desperados reserves the right to amend, alter or withdraw the competition as necessary due to exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control or as a result from any production errors or where there has been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the competition.
1.12 Desperados reserves the right to redraw a Prize if a Prize winner cannot be contacted by email or phone within a reasonable period of time to be established at the Promoter's sole discretion.
1.13 Conduct of participation. By submitting your Oath, all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Desperados Terms and Conditions, privacy policy and general guidelines. The Promoter may at its sole discretion refuse to process an entry or fulfil any Prize awarded or disqualify any individual found to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be disruptive.
Registration fortnightly Prize Draw terms and conditions
1. Closing date for each fortnightly prize draw is Friday 12pm until further notice
2. Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of SHS Sales and Marketing, their agents or anyone professionally connected with this promotion.
3. No purchase is necessary.
4. Only 1 entry is permitted per person, per competition. New registrants to the website are entered into the draw when they successfully submit a fully completed registration form. Any future competitions will need to be re-entered into.
5. Proof of visit to the site is not proof of an entry being received. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for registration forms lost, corrupted or not received for any reason.
6. There will be 1 winner each fortnight that will choose from a selection of prizes. Examples of such prizes may include Bungee Jump, Go Karting, Pole Dancing, Zorbing and Burlesque Dancing taster session, all of which will be specified at the Promoter’s discretion.
7. The winner will be the first name drawn at random, under independent supervision every 2 weeks from all eligible entries. The winner will be notified by e mail or telephone within 7 days of each fortnightly draw using the details provided to enter the promotion. The winner must claim the prize within 7 days of being contacted.
8. If either the prize is unclaimed or declined, or the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable time, a supplementary winner may be drawn at the Promoter's discretion and notified by telephone and the original winner will forfeit any rights to a prize. The Promoter will not be responsible for any inability of a prize winner to take up the specified prize.
9. The winner may be required to participate in related publicity.
10. No cash alternative. Promoter reserves the right to change the prize for one of a similar or greater value if circumstances make this necessary.
11. The Promoter's decision in all matters shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or suspend this promotion or to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice if circumstances makes if necessary
13. Entrants must comply with these terms and conditions and will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted the rules by participating in the promotion.
14. The winners names will be put on the Website
15. It is not the intention of the promoter to use this promotion in any way to encourage excessive consumption of alcohol.
16. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
